I wrote my grad school entrance essay about being a little lost. In life, I am not lost- I have a great apartment in South Philly, two spunky dogs, wonderful, supportive friends, the best partner I could ever ask for, and a drive to succeed like no other.

However career-wise, yup, I’m a little lost. I’ve been refining my skills and learning a lot in my graduate studies, but I still haven’t defined the age old delaration of “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up.” And I’m okay with that, for now, but it leaves me looking around the city for answers.

I’ve been in Philadelphia for 6 years and have just begun to really see it. I’ve been exploring the little neighborhood places, opening my eyes during my commute, and noticing the people around me. Because let’s be real, there are some cool people here. They do some cool things too. And hey- that means you!

So explore with me. I’ll take ya around at my eye level for a little while and we’ll see what this city is really made of.
